Animal Crossing: New Horizons went a step further than its predecessors, allowing players to literally rebuild the island from the ground up with terraforming tools and a wide variety of decoration methods. While the naturally changing seasons of New Horizons help to inherently create themes, the player spruced up their island with a number of holiday and winter-themed delights.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons player KMK33133 shared their island with the rest of the game’s subreddit, showcasing the charming decorations they’ve set up in part of their town. Winter-themed decorations are scattered about the town, including a Frozen Sculpture of a bear, a Frozen chair, Christmas trees, and an Animal Crossing Ornament tree. The town being blanketed in snow brings the entire scene together, giving the impression of a cold but cheerful holiday on the player’s island.
Fans in the comments were quick to share their appreciation for the design, with several asking the player what some of the items and decorations used were. In addition to the in-game decorations that can be found or crafted in the game, the player also used a custom path tile that helps to tie everything together with blueish tones. Another also asked the player if they could visit via a Dream Island code, to which the fan obliged.
